No mention at all that the real reason is that SPACS are limited to acquiring private companies.
It consoles me to learn this, and also casts the content of the 'conflict of interest' letter in a different, benign light.
Most shareholders hadn't acquainted themselves with the SEC rules for SPACs etc, because we hadn't just set one up - and neither had JE - presumably.
Anyway, thanks for clearing it up in the end, jacob.
