re: infinite universe jonesee
Jonesee, you cannot bag " a real or an actual infinite". Most likely from when I was about nine years old I've understood infinity as a process and not a product.
i.e. How can you expect to have something that is finite be infinite? Anthropocentric mindsets have a paranoia of their own I expect.
Likewise .."..given that all possible outcomes have occurred (?), why does your universe still exist? " is a statement that suggests finite notions about an infinite process.
Then you go on to say ...."...things as multiple (finite or infinite) universes, mainly because of the suspicion that it is a ruse by the advocates to avoid thinking seriously" ...... which reads as evidence of some degree of persecution, troubled mindset or irrational distrust of others.
The anthropocentric mindset seeks a finite universe which is to say the least an overbearing and depressive notion. Do you think any self respecting teddy would make one of those just for you? LOL
We have an infinite ever changing and irreversible universe. It's a pity many people don't get it nor want one of these beauties.
