Humanity is undergoing the biggest change ever in our history. Within a decade, AI will be millions of years ahead of us in terms of intelligence. So we're about to find out what it's like to have a "species" that is so much more advanced than us that we won't even be able to communicate with it. It's impossible to know how it's all going to play out. I'd guess we're going to have to learn very quickly about the importance of "do unto others", end all wars, do away with all weapons, erase all national borders. If we don't, it will be the end of our species.
