'' The most intelligent dolphin cannot build a space ship. The most intelligent octopus or raven cannot build a mobile phone or large hadron collider.''

leaving aside the obvious - that we have barely scratched the surface of animal intelligence - or even our own brain for that matter --------

how do you know that your statement above is true?

how do you know that a dolphin or an octopus for example ------- when caught by humans aren't smart enough to have a collective intelligence and have decided to play dumb for humans -

who with their strong belief that they are more intelligent - have swallowed the results of their 'testing' - hook, line and sinker?

There well may be species around who have no need at all to build a space ship - because they may already know what is there in space - or they may have no curiosity to travel, colonise and own and exploit ---------- clear weaknesses of humans

we have no idea of what goes on in the mind of many animals ------- we are merely guessing that we are superior

here we are - believing in an invisible man who lives in the sky and controls everything, who is everywhere and all powerful, and is around all of the time ---------

does that sound intelligent to you?
