    To add interest to the equation the US is coming out of a prolonged drought and it is likely they will pull out of the premium markets in Japan, South Korea etc to supply their own population which consumes most of their production.
    Supermarket policy is to keep shelf prices up as long as possible to recoup some of their losses over the the last three years.
    Farmers will tighten their belts as they always do but anyone with any sense has built up a pretty handy war chest to ride these times.
    Lab grown chicken meat is nothing but crap which is ideal food for the climate zealots. In the real world all the pretend meats based on plants have lost so much shelf space they are virtually nonexistent.
    We have some cryovaced rib fillets in the fridge ready to go for tonight. Should go well with the red wines we are drinking to celebrate the end of the world according to Greta.
