The article IS misleading (and just pretty shite overall).

Just gonna give 1 example from the headline points

FACT -the ASX has queried some of the price movements of BRN.
This is pretty normal

NOT A FACT - "the ASX is concerned about BRN's continuous disclosure"
The author has no way of knowing the sentiments of the Australian Stock Exchange towards Brainchip.
The ASX made inquiries as whether there was anything to be concerned about but was satisfied in each case that continuous disclosure obligations had in fact been met and no further action was taken.

For the author to state - as fact not opinion - that the ASX is concerned about Brainchips continuous disclosure obligations, is FALSE and MISLEADING.


ok that's the most dangerously factually incorrect part, but there's a few other little bullshit contradictions in there of note.

the most hilarious is that the first half of the article is accusing BRN of not being upfront enough.
The second half she's accusing them of releasing too much.

This bit here is gold. Where apparently the only legitimate way for a company to get cash is from paying customers.
Let alone that fact that all start-up companies raise money from investors before generating income from sales.
Let alone the fact that THE ENTIRE EXISTENCE OF THE ASX is to allow companies to raise capital by selling shares


Oh and she accuses BRN management of pumping

And implies there's insider trading going on



Yes she cleverly phrases it as a question.

Oh yeah, and the "sales pitch" announcement, that apparently doesn't count as continuous disclosure which is why the ASX is distrustful - was marked as "price-sensitive" BY THE ASX.
