This thread is bonkers. Yes it’s been proven multiple times in the past (often by people like Stockswami) that people with ulterior motives plague this site but it’s usually to pump a stock so they can dump their shares into gullible retail.

That said, there’s also a perfectly logical explanation for why Sayona has traded the way it has. In summary:

1. way too much hype to start with ($2.2B valuation??)
2. retail too slow to understand the limitations of NAL geology
3. SYA board constantly issuing new stock and ballooning the share register out to 10B shares on issue (which totally caps the $ upside per share)
4. heavy lithium price spike then fall
5. operational problems with NAL ramp-up (refer point 2)

There’s probably heaps of other salient points I’ve missed off the top of my head. But posters on HotCopper should be the least of your worries.
