I'm a 100% yes,,

The regs actually state that Technology should be utilised to enable the most amount of SH to participate in the AGM.

ASX encourages shareholders to attend and participate in meetings and also enables shareholders to take part in meetings without attending in person through a live webcast facility. To improve access and participation for those shareholders not able to attend in person, ASX allows shareholders to cast their vote directly without having to appoint a proxy.

3.2. Meetings should be held during normal business hours and at a place convenient for the greatest possible number of shareholders to attend. Usually this place would be in the city where the head office of the company is situated or where the majority of individual shareholders reside. Companies may also periodically hold meetings in other places where a significant number of shareholders reside.

3.3. Companies should use their best endeavours to use relevant technology to enable a maximum number of shareholders to attend and participate (as far as technology effectively allows) at meetings.


It only works out at circa a $1 per participant so that is far more competitive than posting out the proxies.

Heck even 20 years ago we had a Phone code to enter so SH could ask questions and participate in the AGM...

I felt last year was an insult as there was a Zoom facility as part of the package in the presentation room where the AGM was held, plus for it only to be used by Roger ?

Is Roger even going to return to Australia? being 10 hours out of kilt with Australia must place a strain on communications...

so a Big Yes from Me for the AGM to enable as many SH to participate and have the opportunity to ask questions and have them answered directly by the BOD..NZT
