As a swf client holding 150k+ cash over the weekend, this is starting to cost me a few pennies so I've had a look at my options.

1. both stake and thinkmarkets can link directly to my Macquarie cma (1.25%, 2.5% for an accelerator account) which is my only banking source at the moment so they are actually good alternatives.

2. I switch from my macquarie cma to another bank. The cma doesn't do osko payments yet which is annoying and regardless, transfers have a 100k limit so transferring back and forth in large amounts wont work. This is an option if stake and thinkmarkets have crappy execution platforms.

3. Look at short term cash ETFs such as aaa or bill. Unfortunately bid ask spreads plus round trip brokerage mean that this needs to be held for at least 5 days just to break even at 100k.
