Stake is not profitable with their $3 flat fee model. if you read SWF's annual report, you can roughly work out how much their clearing cost is. SWF is making a reasonable margin and reinvesting that margin into its product development to make its platform and APP better. Other smaller platform are just racing to the bottom and will go bust sooner or later. there's no future for these cheap brokerage platforms if their business model isn't sustainable.
