Actually, it's the RBA's fault.
They have consistently allowed the money supply to expand at double digit rates this decade (while sometimes raising, sometimes lowering rates).
The stoopid flawed focus on CPI "inflation", rather than true inflation (ie. expansion of money and credit), breeds bubbles and excess.
