Personally I don't really care who the syndicate is. It is the colour (or color since they are US) of their money that is important. In a normal CR or fund raising we typically never know who our fellow shareholders are. Would be a different story if we were talking about a cornerstone investor. But like you point out, this is like a pay day loan, tide us over until next pay day (tomorrow?)
