I'm afraid I can't agree with you HC "gurus". There's no way the US can afford to raise interest rates any time in the next year given the massive level of debt and failing consumer confidence. We are on the brink of a massive market collapse in the US which will have its repercussions all over the world including OZ. Interest rates up?? In your dreams....
