Yes I too was up around 18% back then.

Most of us did try to improve ourselves and had to move where the next job was. There were a number of new abodes during my working life.

How many of us retired people still owe our bank?
Asset rich and no or little income and unable to get a bridging loan to sell some assets to clear our debts.
I tried a reverse mortgage but the catch is you can't get one if you have dependants living at home. One dependant with disability.
