if households think the last 2 years have been tough, the next 2 years will be even tougher!
on another note, there is no longer value for developers to knock down a house and build 2 in its place.
whilst land was cheaper 3-4 years ago, today the cost to buy that same land is much higher, and so to the cost to build.
there is no money in it anymore.
the only solution is for the government to step in and build 'at cost' in an attempt to help ease supply, or a good old recession to flush the system clean.
