Interest rates going higher, page-1803

Anecdotal evidence of course but out of the people I'm connected to through work, friends, facebook community groups etc it's the renters that are struggling the most. Many aren't that mobile due to the family commitments, work tying them to living within x km of a certain location etc.

Most of those that I know renting have little savings and are in lower income brackets, they don't have the luxury of a safety net to gamble on moving somewhere new and hoping to find a job within 2-3 months. They are living pay check to pay check so would not survive for any period without employment to relocate.
