what do people expect when wages go up, govt borrowing goes up, inflation runs free so we get interest rate increases to try and hold the currency from losing most of its value. I feel sorry for all those with super funds who thought that in 30 years they will have a nice little nest egg to support their retirement . Sorry, money is not a real asset like other things such as commodities and real estate. Those items will appreciate if selected carefully and you won't be paying big fees to finance managers who invest other peoples money with no loss for themselves if things go wrong. I prefer to lose my own money than pay someone to do it for me.
