My understanding is that the RBA has to act as per the law, not willy nilly uncontrolled money printing as it feels like it, because if they didn't they would be sacked at the very least.
Its the government that sets the rules & the RBA must act within those laws.
That is why I am going to vote for the Greens for the first time ever in the next federal election to get rid of NG and a freeze on rents
