I have never been a proponent of negative gearing. It has always been my conviction that the additional tier of financial benefit is unnecessary, given rentals and capital appreciation should be sufficient returns on the investment - presuming one is smart enough to buy at the bottom of the cycle.
No NG, and if you want a return then investors should buy at the bottom of the cycle ... Not even you could twist that, but you'll try!
