The RBNZ even admits that it's terminal cash rate is going to be 5.50% from it's own estimates. What makes the RBA and Australoans think that we won't follow our brothers and sisters across the ditch.
TBH the RBNZ acted quicker and have so far been more aggressive in trying to control the inflation genie. Yes they will have a recession, but most likely not as deep and as long even though their debt to income levels are on par with Australoans.
