Excuse the sarcasm, wiskers, but welcome to the world of men; that most egregious human fallibility of man that is greed and power. It's been with us since the biggest, strongest cave man commandeered the best cave for himself, to the current when the richest and most powerful have the ability to buy the best waterfront mansion. Sadly, it is a fixture of the human DNA and I'm not even sure that several million years of ongoing evolution will eliminate the trait. Presuming that same culture of greed doesn't wipe out our species in the meantime .
