The housing shortage is not quite right, people seeking Dept of Housing/ Low income there is a Shortage, I know of a Gardener who looks after 6 to 7 different homes in Sydney's hills district, he says and gets told these expensive homes are empty in fact they are empty for over 12 mths and are not being renovated, they are owned by Chinese Investors?, who will move to Australia when they are being pursued by the Chinese Govt, if one looks independently many High Rise Apartments in Sydney and The Gold Coast at night half the building has no lights on.
