Yes MP I came to a similar conlusion except the money I pocketed from selling my property will pay my rent and all other living costs for the rest of my life (on earnings alone) and even then the capital will continue to grow at a faster rate than property.

A no brainer decision.

I had debt to clear so not in such a fortunate situation but in saying that I think not being in debt will be a very fortunate situation at some point

I am surprised that no one has told me that I am wrong on the demograpic angle.
