    The idea that some one has more money than I have seen and doesn't own property let a alone PPOR is rather perplexing

    For starters it is strange that you would not property in you mix of assets to spread your risk and then to have your family at the mercy of a land lord.

    A PPOR would have to be your most important asset, no two ways about it.

    I recall a lady friend years ago hooked up with this guy who was keen on making money on the stock market, she sold her house they rented a house together and all their money went into stocks. Years latter the property that she had sold had gone up in value 3 x as had all other property and yet the value of the share portfolio had gone up, down side ways and if you factored in what they had paid in rent over the years they where way worse off.

    To suggest that some one has $millions in net assets and not won property is very strange indeed
