I understand exactly what the economist was saying. I was responding firstly to Stocko's headline "Interest Rates To Hit 17% Next Year" and secondly to the intent of the post, which Stocko subsequently conformed in a follow-up post, that a "train wreck" is about to happen.
The post is Chicken Little stuff: "The sky is falling, the skt is falling!"
No offense intended Stocko, I just don't agree that we are facing an imminent period of doom and gloom (mind you, neither are we facing a period of massive wealth creation.)
