Remember, the big towns Brisbane and Ipswich seemed to have escaped relatively unscathed.
The real problem areas are bundaberg and Grafton.
As of this morning, 6100 claims lodged thus far with suncorp receiving 4500 claims and adele ferguson quotes 200 only for qbe.
Approx insurange damage quoted by insurance council so far around $70 million. This equates to around $11,000 a claim which at this stage is mostly storm damage and minor flooding.
Not a big number for qbe thus far, I would say under $5 million
For me, a good opportunity to buy more QBE shares on this dip.
