Very interesting to look at this thread now. The ship was sinking years ago, but the band played on. Now we are royally screwed, and as one poster above commented, many of our kids will probably be renters for life. With looming interest rate hikes and cost of living skrocketing, those who have managed to purchase a home are in a mountain of debt and the house of cards is about to come tumbling down.
