    It wouldn't surprise me if the inflation figures printed by the government are understated, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

    Mainly, because the government has more to gain when they are understated, with respect to indexed pension payments etc.

    One interesting thing that I have noticed lately is the cost of technology, across the board, is going up, rather than coming down.

    Also, a lot of e-commerce websites are not offering good discounts anymore, and websites like youtube hammering you with ads.

    I can understand them wanting to exploit the fact that people are being forced to spend their time and money on computers.

    However, if the costs of technology end up outweighing the benefits, people might just end up finding themselves switching off.

    Interesting times ahead. Unfortunately, over-leveraged people hoping for interest rates cuts are going to be waiting in earnest.
