No mention of cobalt in the last quarterly despite hype for the stuff already building.

Did find this in their last annual report:

"PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Project is located 200 kilometres east of the PNG capital Port Moresby and approximately 35 kilometres from the town of Wanigela situated on Collingwood Bay. The Project hosts significant nickel-cobalt mineralisation within the laterite profile overlying an ultramafic plateau. Exploration results have been used to estimate a total Mineral Resource of 125 million tonnes grading 1.06 per cent Nickel (Ni) and 0.07 per cent Cobalt (Co)*. See Table 1 on page 5 for further details and JORC classifications. *Refer to ASX announcement 14 December 2011, RMC confirms that it is not aware of any new information or data that affects the information included in that market announcement and that all the material assumptions and technical parameters underpinning the estimates in the relevant market announcement continue to apply and have not materially changed. RMC’s policy for Mineral Resources estimates is to have the estimates prepared by a suitably qualified and experienced external consultant and have these estimates reviewed internally by the Board periodically."

Not familiar with mining in PNG, laws, environment, local people etcetera... Interesting all the same. At first glance – and again, with minimal geological understanding – resource looks competitive against peers if proven. Can't help but be drawn to companies with near-term mining potential much like GMM and GXY with the lithium race...
