Ghalix I wasn't concerned about where the IGR sp had been (as I said I wouldn't be surprised if it was driven lower), but rather commenting on what I think SLR should have paid to get a fair deal for SLR shareholders.
SLR's sp was also depressed, not just IGR.
Both prices were depressed from last years highs, so that is why I don't buy that argument.
I am looking at what we got and what we paid for it, and I think we over paid by quite a bit.
Around 30c would have been a better price when comparing what IGR was bringing to the deal and what SLR was bringing.
I am independant here because I am not holding either, but if I was invested I would have been much happier if I was an IGR holder before the merger and the sp movements obviously back up that view. The market also sees this as more of a plus fror IGR than for SLR for the price paid to merge.
IGR drove the bargain and got rewarded.
SLR did not need this as much as IGR. SLR management should have been getting the better deal.
