There is a big difference between working for RIO and developing a junior iron ore company. Some blokes just don't have it.
Any junior that has made it to production and created significant shareholder value has had management with skin in the game. Not soft options and a fat salary but their own had earned on the line.
Gary had no incentive to fast track anything at FMS as he risked losing the easy salary. If only he had half a brain and worked out he stood to gain a lot more by actually making shareholders a few bucks. (but that would require a bit of hard work wouldn't it?)
