If the company actually sold something for a profit (let alone expect sales growth because that is clearly too much to ask) then there wouldn't have been any need for the Diasource deal in the first place (for the BOD to even allegedly "screw up" in the first place). That's been my whole point all along re SHOW ME THE MONEY ...
However even the simplest of things seems to escape some folks... yes it was my bad to not realise the bleeding obvious, but what irks me is when full disclosure does not seem to appear to be made on the ASX and companies are allowed to forever can kick down the road and nobody considers the repercussions of that on shareholder capital...
It's "everyone for themselves" in the current market and on the ASX and the rules allow them to get away with it...
That's the thing investors fail to grasp I think and no more than in the Biotech space where companies are continually underfunded and under capitalized and run for the benefit of the BOD, the medical industry, the employees, the "feel good" factor for the politicians, the patients, the science or whatever and NOBODY stops to ask is this actually a good idea (for the shareholders)..?
Reminds a bit of the issue of putting Jiffy Firestarter cladding on the outside of buildings. Everyone ticks off all the boxes : yes an inspector has seen it, yes it seems to comply, (gee it looks good), etc.. and on and on it goes, and nobody questions the obvious ie Is it in fact a good idea to put flammable cladding on the side of a building?
In this case the analogy is - is it a good idea to actually allow early venture style capital Biotech prospects to even list on the ASX? When they are clearly way underfunded from the beginning.
That's the lesson I've learnt with AHZ, ACR and now this.
Oh but you will always get the biased responses back from "the industry"... the vested interest groups> that is a given.
An additional problem is it's sometimes hard to spot who is representing who: even on a forum such as this.
If nobody wants to listen: fine. I'm done with it. Good luck with it all. Cheers. All IMHO and NA.
