It seems to be a race to the finish for an Australian based downstream lithium processing plant. I'm not sure if there are any others planned in Australia or already existing?

I'm guessing I'm not the first to wonder if MIN is concerned it won't have access to enough spod. to make the economics of its JV with NMT stack up. Hence targeting ours via ROFR albeit in an indirect way. It's already supplying 100% of its Mt Marion spod. to Gangfeng until 2020, which subsequently decreases to 49%.
The above probably goes without saying but as I gradually learn more about the lithium industry, which only increases my conviction, the more incestuous it seems. Everyone doing business with their cousins of sorts.
Apologies if this has already been discussed at length. Just slowly joining the dots in my head.
