Lynas met the Malaysian limits as a requirement for licensing the Gebeng plant years ago. If not Wong Take and the rest of the China stooges would have had a field day. This horse has been flogged to death.
Politics is politics and so it may take some pressure and a little grease to resolve the issue of closing down the concentrate operation in Malaysia.
Everyone wants to keep the jobs and the money to suppliers and contractors in Malaysia flowing (except for China).
