Do you really think the company would repeatedly state they have more than adequate provisions if they knew they were going to struggle to cover this event? Does anyone have a clue how much re-insurance Suncorp has for example?
All you shorters are simply trying to comfort yourselves b you becuase you've bought the media hype. Average claims are expected at 35 000. Even if Suncorp was responsible for every home in harms way (which they are not) then that would be manageable.
Plenty of shorters ran for cover in late trade.
