This is an excellent move by OZL. BHP and RIO regularly review their asset portfolios and sell components that do not fit their strategy or hurdle rates. OZL, in adopting the same management diligence shows that it is willing to be driven by the numbers, not the emotion. This sends a good signal to the market.
