    The sad thing is that the highest level recorded was 2ppm which compares well to WHO drinking water standard of 5ppm and even the Australian 1ppm ... and definitely compares well to some known soft drinks with >>5ppm.

    DERM misunderstood (or possibly misrepresented) the meaning of "trigger value" vs "toxic" and "contamination" and the like and the press could'nt give a tinkers cuss about truth and fact.

    For the record a trigger value is not contamination it is a value if reached that might trigger investigation by the company as a matter of routine.

    I think you'll find that article refers to an attempt by Damien O'Sullivan to blame Cougar for what was in all likelihood misuse of chemicals on his farm or nearby farms, possibly by crop dusting.
