unsinkable, I don't agree. When investors had lost faith in the economy and sharemarket, gold went up and yes gold producers benefited from that. However gold explorers struggled just as much.
To prove this fact, rmx was valued at around $35m when gold was much higher a year and more ago
Hmm, I just compared Aus gold price to RMX share price and I see no correlation at all. In fact the gold price was approximately the same on 7/12/2012 as it was on 4/9/2013 yet RMX had in that time dropped from 15c to 1c.
I'm sorry but a souring economy, from my experience does not exempt speculative gold explorers (or speculative anything for that matter).
