He was predicting Tesla stock to crumble at $30USD... it's now $341USD, so he's only out by a factor of about 11x. And he's an attorney?
He's assuming no Cobalt will come on-stream to supply, and we are stuck at today's supply levels... Tesla (and others) need to secure their supply lines either directly or via battery-makers so that is the only correct part. The Chinese / Japanese are already moving on that. USA and Europe are largely lagging apart from VW.
Not saying there won't be supply tightening, but some of these pundits need to get a grip. Wasn't it Macquarie predicting the death of Lithium last year?
