Whilst the share price is not locked upward, it is amazing how quickly sellers disappear once it rises, driving the price for those who want in even higher.
As many long term holders will know, there is a lot of unlocked value and cash flow in this business. It was needing direction and structure which the current management have been putting in place.
Simple aggregation of like service businesses is a failed model. There wants to be entrepreneurship and synergy for a business to buy in and stay in. I think the DEP provides that, as well as offering succession planning to the many, many senior partners who are looking to retire over the next 3 -5 years.
