This is all AFR BS, because the basket size and conversion rate increases so much with BNPL that it's effectively free for a retailer.

- No credit risk (worth 3% by itself)
- 25%+ increase in basket size - $100 becomes $125 * average afterpay fee 3.9% $4.87, net $120.12 to the retailer. If the retailer makes 20% margin they made an extra $4 using Afterpay, even more at higher margins. ZERO net cost.
- Advertising via the platforms without needing to pay Google or FB 3+%
I doubt many ppl here will understand the above, as you need to be very stupid to invest in a credit card based company that never scaled in any country, and when any RBA stats or Global stats will show credit cards going extinct. China doesn't use MasterCard or Visa almost at all, straight app based payments -6Trillion+ a quarter.
