Very interesting yet another person who thinks it is totally OK to say anything on a public board with absolutely no data. What you said is an outright lie. Yes you did qualify it as being your understanding but it is so wrong the qualifications is meaning less.
MP is making over 5 KT of NdPr just 4 years after they announced they would build a separation plant. Lynas Announced the plans to build Lamp in 2009 and produced only 3.9KT in 2016 and finally reach 5.223KT in 2017. Who has build and reach this capacity faster.
What you said was "Making RE oxides economically and at scale is MP's big problem as far as I understand and they're struggling financially." Lets start at end here is link into MP investor relations. https://investors.mpmaterials.com/overview/default.aspx
First thing to notice is the brand new multistory building with the Texas flag outside. This project was announced in 2022 VS Lynas in 2019. Where are the pictures of Lynas facility, OH I forgot they are still waiting on permits to start, Already over budget. This is MP's factory for Metals and magnets that they announced in 2022 with GM and has been making metals for over a year and will be making magnets on production floor soon. For last two years they have been making magnets in the new lab that is in this building and sending them to customers for testing.
Now you can call up the Q1 report, i will give you the link. https://investors.mpmaterials.com/investor-news/news-details/2025/MP-Materials-Reports-First-Quarter-2025-Results/default.aspx Now I am sure you based your bad assumptions on the fact they are losing money Which is true. They loss $22M in Q1. Go a little further down to balance sheet they have $ 759M in cash assets on hand. Lynas had much more than this but is now down to AU as far as D 268M = USD 174M. Do you really think that this indicates MP is "struggling financially"? I don't think they are struggling, could you explain to me what I am missing. If you look closely you will see a major customer paid $50M on April 1 for advance purchase of Metals and magnets. I know I would never pay for anything in advance unless I was sure I would receive the product and it would meet spec. If you are going to talk about someone or something please do at least a little research before doing anything.
AS far as your statement of "Lynas didn't choose Maaden perhaps? " All you had to do is keep up with current events and you would understand that TRUMP did many deals with different Sudi companies during his ongoing trip. Only time will tell if anything ever is completed. I don't know how you think Lynas was involved at all.
