SO Trump gets back in power and starts right back up with his efforts. He is without doubt one of the most intelligent and energetic American Presidents ever. His policy actions on REEs were in fact designed to produce the result we see now, i.e., companies scrambling in fear trying to get out of the Chinese honey trap or pig trough, as you like.

Rare earths have outsized and truly immense downstream economic power. China monopolizes the rare earths and the rare earth magnets and just about everything that can be made from them.
