Looking at past I understand why you call it a "farce", I can not argue with what you say. When I look at the damage not resolving this issue will cause to both countries I firmly believe this has to be resolved. Will this be the resolution? Who knows. Both countries lose big time if it is not resolved. Short term not resolving it is great for Lynas. Long term it is bad for all stock investors including those in Lynas.

Doubt they care at all about any one or two projects. They go up because they think the future is not as good for Lynas AS others think who are buying.

I do think there is a good possibility that Seadrift will be cancelled in favor of HREE expansion at lamp but Shorting is short term and unless they expect an announcement before Q4 report I doubt if they are considering it. JMO they think Xi and Trump will resolve their differences. We will have to wait a few days to know what Shorts do this week. 4 day delay.

I believe some inventory build up is more than prudent. But this is a one time shot. Inventory ties up cash both to buy it and store it. The decisions are complex but you cannot keep adding to inventory without it becoming a drag of profits. We have seen how Just in time can hurt badly. That does not mean large inventory buildups+ will not cause problems as well.
