We are all aware of the unique position that Lynas takes globally when it comes to REE mining, processing, refining and knowledge (I hate the comparison that often is made of Lynas with ILU, MP or ARU or other juniors, there is no comparison).This is taken from the latest quarterly report: “The commissioning of the new Heavy Rare Earths circuit positions Lynas as the only producer ofDysprosium and Terbium outside China. Ultimately, 4 new products will be added to Lynas’ product rangeysprosium, Terbium, unseparated Samarium/Europium/Gadolinium and Holmium concentrate.Dysprosium and Terbium are essential components for high performance magnets and some electroniccomponents and demand for these materials is high”. That are all the REE materials the USA needs in order to be independent from China. Now, AL has stated a couple of years earlier, doing business with the USA is, to put it friendly, complex and the outcome is predictable. But the USA wants Lynas, let’s see when they start the powerplay. Or did it already start (Aukus?).
