I have to disagree.

I correctly predicted the LynasUS operation would be turned to the task of SEG, where the S for Samarium is the important REE component of simpler SmCo magnets that the military loves for their strength and resilience in ission critical applications. Highly resistant to demagnetization by field or fire. And doing in a US facility makes a lot of sense for a company that wishes to further their business into the US market. AND I have no problem believing the Japanese, to whom the output of LYNAS is largely contracted, would find this acceptable, a win-win.

What I never trusted was a the idea of mini-LAMP or full spectrum refinery in TX US. I did not trust Biden to push Trumps ideas of anything REE. The man was a puerile imbecilic career politician with nary an original or intelligent thought (a typical Left winger, at best).

With Mt Weld and LYNAS plus MAL and KAL producing DyTbNdPr destined for Japan industry, where there is a realistic metals and magnets industry, the separation of SEG will be materially additive to LYNAS’s bottom line. Anywhere would be better than China and yet I think doing it in yet another version of the MAL LAMP is actually LESS attractive than doing it in the US.

Efforts to contribute to an investment case for LYNAS that depict America or Americans or our President as a loser or bully that will take not make is unproductive nonsense imho.
