Yes China has kept controls in place. They are granting many exceptions. No one even Trump and Xi know how this will go long term. JMO it will not be clear for at least 120 Days more likely a year or two before everything settles. There is a chance to make good money in this market. There is also a possibility to lose almost all. The fact that this is all dependent on the moods of the leaders and no traditional economic study, makes me want to stay far away. I am 75 and retired My retirement and children's inheritance are dependent on decisions I make now. No way I will put money in a market segment so controlled by human emotions. I hope all on this board make a fortune you will deserve it for taking the risk.
I will admit I have changed from a big risk taker to more risk adverse AS I have aged. I use to ignore the loses and in favor of the Succes. it was not till I used a computer to track all my transactions and calculate Annualized gain did I understand how much big loses were hurting me.
