So simple to say drop a bomb or two on somebody and get out. Can you give one or two examples from history where this has worked? I doubt it.

Don' know What it cost to send a bomber or two to Iran with bunker busting bombs. With arial refueling and fighter escort in Iran. Isreal would have to knock out Defenses as well. Maybe US from nearby bases or carriers if they want to keep links between Airforce's fuzzy. I am sure it is at least a Million.
JMO first clear indication that it may happen, is Israel or US intensifying knocking out air defenses around (100s of miles) the bunker. This is probably when bombers are in the air but still capable of being notified & turning around if something goes wrong.. Would need time to verify Defenses are down but short enough that Repairs could not be performed.
