Her is the 2018 plan for WLP and HUF other than treating liquid with MgO to leach out solids from liquid which they have been doing since day one. What Treatment are you referring to?

WLP is from C&L and contains Thorium HUF is from SX and can be used for many things Unfortunately SMSL stopped it from being put into products.For WLP the plan was always a PDF never to try to separate the Th out. P stands for permanent in PDF. Thorium only emits alpha particles and nothing exposed to them can become radio active so water is not radio active from exposure once all solids are removed and PH is neutralizes to 7 They just send it down the river, literally. Right now solids are is stored in a temporary facility on site. . With the PDF they will move WLP by conveyor to the PDF where it will never be touched again. Please define what you are talking about for treatment. Just to help you out here is a little about Thorium I see nothing that can be used to treat it, other than waiting a few billion years.

The killer radiation from processing REE by Mitsubishi was from uranium or large amounts of Thorium inhaled or digested. Posible to develop cancer if you get a lot of Thorium in an open wound. Normal skin blocks Alpha radiation very well. Soft tissue is damaged by Alph radiation. When Thorium gets locked in under skin or lodged next to soft tissue in lungs or digestive track it takes a long time to cause harm.
