Japan has supported Lynas in many ways over many years; they are NOT trying to take advantage of Lynas but continuing a longstanding and vital partnership.
That said Japan will absolutely try to take advantage of being first in line for LYNAS Mt Weld production by being first to recover DyTb-NdPr-enabled magnet market share and downstream motor market share.
